The 2025 Capt. Pat McNamara Fireball final between F/O Dean Rogers and Capt. Eoin McCarthy was played on the Portmarnock Jameson Links on September 23rd.  After some excellent golf by both players over the initial 4 holes, it was Eoin who took the early lead going one up after 5.  By the seventh hole Dean was one up but starting the back nine it was all square again and all to play for.  However, over the back nine Dean produced some magnificent golf and raced into the lead eventually sealing the victory, 4 up with 3 to play.
